These modalities fuse body work with exercise, helping you to maintain healthy, toned muscles and proper body alignment. Whether you're into Yoga, Martial Arts, Running, Dance….you name it....you can use this work to enhance your current fitness program, or it's great exercise on its own. Classes are taught in private or semi-private session or, for experienced students, weekly classes are available.
Yamuna ® Body Rolling
The original small ball therapy, Yamuna® Body Rolling uses specially designed balls to lengthen and tone muscles as well as correcting alignment. With YBR you learn to treat the whole body yourself…you'll get more out of your massage therapy sessions, hold chiropractic adjustments longer and get a great workout to boot. You will see and feel a difference in one session.
Balance on a Ball
This therapy uses large exercise balls to strengthen and balance the body. Large fitness balls support the body allowing you to strengthen muscles in isolation. The round surface allows for deeper, more profound stretching while strengthening core muscles. Working out on fitness balls relieves pain and helps prevent injury.
Hands-On Treatments
YBR® Hands-on Therapeutics
This is applied Yamuna® Body Rolling. The practitioner positions the client over the ball and then gently lengthens the body around it, creating space in the joints, easing tension in the connective tissue and lengthening muscles. Each session begins with a posture analysis to address any negative holding patterns that may be the result of repetitive motion or injury.
Total Wellness Reflexology
Sessions begin with YBR® footwork, correcting foot alignment, lengthening the muscles and creating space. This allows for deeper stimulation of the foot reflexes as they can be accessed simultaneously from the top and bottom of the foot. Foot reflexology clears the feet of congestion and balances the body. Deeply soothing and relaxing, this treatment helps eliminate foot pain and makes the whole body feel energized.
